CORDON Bleu cook and hostess with the mostest Lulu Rymer has launched South Holland’s first pop-up restaurant in the front room of her home in view of Moulton Mill.
You can invite as many as eight friends to join you in Lulu’s Dining Room for a perfect dinner party, without lifting a finger yourself.
Bring your own wine as Lulu doesn’t have a licence and select from Lulu’s range of recipes, and the whole party all-in can cost as little as £15 a head.
Lulu said: “I love dinner parties, we’re a very social family, but I know that holding one can seem like too much work now everyone’s so busy.
“Also people often don’t have room to invite as many people as they’d like, and meeting in a pub or restaurant can have privacy issues.
“I think a pop-up is just what’s needed around here and I’ve got a number of bookings already,”
Lulu moved from London into the Moulton home she shares with her two daughters 11 years ago.
She and her ex-husband ran the former general store as a bakery for a while and then opted to convert it into the attractive house it is today. Parts are 200 years old.
Lulu is already an outside caterer and runs cookery demonstrations in the Dining Room’s kitchen, but the pop-ups, which can be booked from Thursday to Sunday, lunch or evening, are new. Contact her on 07790 276706.
