YOUNGSTERS in Whaplode can’t wait for the summer to try out their new living willow structure.
Whaplode Primary School is developing a sensory garden and the new structure has been installed as part of the project.
Headteacher Mary Grist said: “The children were totally amazed as they watched Rob Tilley from Living Willow form this beautiful structure from sticks.
“It’s a bit too cold to sit out there at the moment but the children can’t wait to try it out in the summer.
“We will use it for group lessons and story time and the children will also be able to sit under it at lunchtime.
“Although it’s a bit bare now, I’m assured it will be a lovely leafy shelter by the summer.”
