Mortgage consultant Jade Moses raised £2,270 for homeless charity Shelter by running the London Marathon.
Jade completed the 26.2 mile run in five hours 17 minutes, despite carrying a torn knee ligament from her training.
She said the experience was fantastic and ‘strangely enjoyable’ due to the electric atmosphere and the crowd cheering everyone on.
The support from her family and friends was invaluable and seeing them at certain cheer points throughout the race really spurred her on.
She loved running on the day but she says she doesn’t think she will be doing it again!
Jade would love to get over the £2,300 mark for Shelter and any further donations would be greatly appreciated as her just giving page is still open for the next couple of weeks, or people can pop into Nationwide Building Society in Spalding to sponsor her if they wish.
