A father is hoping to track down his two children who he has not had any contact with for more than 12 years.
Stephen Upton (61) believes his son Matthew (30) and daughter Camilla (24) are possibly living in the Holbeach area and is hoping they will get in touch before it is too late.
Mr Upton, who lives in Slough, Berkshire, said: “I am getting older and I have diabetes so I am not going to be around forever and I would like to get to know my children again and find out whether I am a grandfather.
“I have been looking for them for more than 10 years. I once thought I was getting close to finding them in the Whaplode area, but the trail went cold as I think they moved again.”
The family lost contact after Mr Upton split from Matthew and Camilla’s mum and she moved away with a new partner without leaving a forwarding address.
His search began in 1999 after his mother became seriously ill.
He said: “I tried to contact them through her solicitors as a matter of urgency to give the kids a chance to say goodbye to their grandmother, but they didn’t have a clue where they had moved to.
“Unfortunately my mother died before I could track them down, but now I want to find out how their lives are going.”
