Residents in the Spalding area are being warned to lock up their property now it is getting darker earlier.
A green and yellow John Deere 455 ride on lawnmower was stolen from a garage in Gosberton some time between Sunday and 3pm on Monday.
Thieves forced the door of the garage in Cheal Road, adding to a spate of shed and garage burglaries in the Spalding area.
Lincolnshire police recently launched Operation Lighthouse to highlight the need for residents to review home security at this time of year.
PC Sarah Draper said: “We would urge everyone to make sure their sheds and garages are secure.”
