A Long Sutton man has appeared in court charged with making and possessing indecent images of children.
Michal Jasiak (40), of High Street, Long Sutton, faces 12 charges in total involving children aged 11 and 12 years old.
The images include those graded as the most severe ‘level five’ category, defined as sadism or bestiality.
Jasiak is charged with three counts of making a ‘level one’ image of a child, three counts of making a ‘level two’ image, one count of making a ‘level three’ image, three counts of making a ‘level four’ image, and one count of making a ‘level five’ image.
He is also accused of possessing 36 images of a child – ten ‘level one’, ten ‘level two’, two ‘level three’, and 14 ‘level four’.
All the offences are alleged to have taken place in King’s Lynn between June 1 last year and April 1, 2012.
Jasiak appeared at West Norfolk Magistrates’ Court on Friday and only spoke to confirm his name and address.
The case was committed to Norwich Crown Court for a preliminary hearing on December 7.
He was released on conditional bail until then.
