Fleet care home Capricorn Cottage had double the reason to celebrate recently.
Daycare manager Mike Ebbage was a finalist in the Great British Care Awards and proudly took his place side by side with other celebrated healthcare professionals.
Mike, along with wife Sue, were joined by other members of the management team of Pearl Healthcare to join in well deserved celebrations at a glitzy party held at the Belfry Hotel in Nottingham.
The awards were presented by former Eastenders star Martin Kemp.
Capricorn Cottage hacs recently launched a new dementia suite, the Amethyst Suite, which is made up of four beds for people with learning difficulties with dementia.
The launch has followed months of research and design by general manager Julie Clarke, who knows first-hand how high quality dementia care in a safe but stimulating environment can lead to purposeful living and provides freedom to flourish for those who live there.
