The Original Factory Shop has been shortlisted for the 2013 Retail Week Awards’ Customer Service Initiative of the Year, with results to be announced in March 2013.
The shop’s ‘shop online...offline’ service wowed judges and store manager Vanessa Bell explained the service “offers customers who don’t have access to the internet or who don’t have a credit card the chance to enjoy the great deals available on our website by ordering in store and paying by cash if they want to.”
• The store – which raised money for Help Our Local Heroes this year – is looking for a local good cause to support next year in its Make a Difference community campaign, and has a target of at least £500.
Store manager Vanessa Bell said: “We’re dedicated to making a difference to our local community and are all really looking forward to next year’s campaign.”
