Teachers across South Holland have been coming up with some novel ideas to make learning fun.
Away from their desks, children have been enjoying activities that involve using their imaginations, dressing up and tasting food from around the world.
At St John’s Primary School in Spalding, 63 children from Year 6 experienced what it was like to be growing up during the Second World War when they were visited by a touring museum.
The We’ll Meet Again day was presented by Paul and Linda Britchford.
Pupils were able to try on clothes and touch artefacts from the era, as well as taste food available to them during times of rationing.
Other pupils from the school have been leaning how to make bread at Sir John Gleed School.
