A woman was more than three times the drink-drive limit when a passer-by went to her aid and found her with a bottle of vodka in the car.
Deborah O’Leary (49), of Spalding Road, Holbeach, was parked in Raven’s Gate, Holbeach St Johns, and the keys were still in the ignition.
Allison Cunningham, prosecuting, said the man who spotted O’Leary phoned police and then helped her get out of the car as she wanted to go to the toilet.
The man took her towards some bushes.
She said O’Leary then fell over, exposing her lower body.
Mrs Cunningham said a test at the police station showed O’Leary had 118 microgrammes of alcohol in breath – the legal limit is 35mcgs.
In interview, O’Leary said she was looking for her son’s house but was unable to give details.
Solicitor David Lee, mitigating, said O’Leary is receiving medical treatment for depression and for a drink problem.
He said O’Leary was estranged from her son, had been told he lived in the area of Raven’s Gate and was looking for his house.
It wasn’t the case that she was unable to recall details for the police – she simply didn’t know precisely where he lived.
