Two women, including one from Gedney, were injured after a two-vehicle crash on the A16 near Algarkirk.
A black Vauxhall Corsa collided with a silver Peugeot 206 at about 5pm yesterday and police had to close the road for about three and a half hours.
Fire crews from Donington and Boston used hydraulic cutting equipment to free the Peugeot drive, a 53-year-old woman from Gedney, who was then given first aid.
She suffered fractures to her leg and shoulder while the driver of the Corsa, a 23-year-old Boston woman, was treated for chest injuries.
