Police are appealing for witnesses after a head-on collision at Fosdyke Bridge on Saturday afternoon.
The accident happened on the A17 Long Sutton road at 3pm and involved a silver Renault Clio and a red Ford Fiesta.
There were two casualties - a 55-year-old man from Saracen’s Head who was driving the Renault Clio and suffered a suspected pelvic injury and a 19-year-old woman from the Boston area who was in the Fiesta and suffered a minor seatbelt injury.
The man was treated in Boston’s Pilgrim Hospital but not detained.
Police say there is some suggestion there was a vehicle in front of the Renault Clio that mounted the verge to avoid the Fiesta which had crossed onto the wrong carriageway.
Anyone who witnessed the incident is asked to call police on 101, quoting incident 215 of December 29, 2012.
