Holbeach Parish Council is looking for its second new clerk within a year after the resignation of Teresa Daisley was announced this week.
At a meeting on Monday, councillors expressed regret at Mrs Daisley’s decision to resign down for personal reasons and she was thanked for her efforts as clerk since April 2012,
However, she has agreed to stay on until a new clerk is appointed and councillors finalise a budget for 2013-14.
Parish council chairman Councillor Peter Savory said: “We’re all very sorry that, for personal reasons, Teresa is stepping down as clerk because she’s done a first-rate job.
“But she’s staying on until we find a replacement.”
