An amber flood alert remains in place along the River Welland after more torrential rain hit the Spalding area.
The area includes the Lower Welland and other watercourses from Stamford, such as Market Deeping and Spalding.
A spokesman for the Environment Agency says it is working to lower river levels at low tides to minimise the impact of further rain that is expected at the end of the week.
Warnings were put in place following rain and the impact of the thaw which saw the snow disappear at the weekend.
Levels are also reducing at Surfleet Reservoir, where residents were battling to save their homes from flooding yesterday (Monday).
