POLICE are seeking revocation of the premises licence at The Chequers Hotel, Holbeach, following alleged violence and under-age drinking.
A licensing panel will meet at 9.30am tomorrow at South Holland District Council to decide the hotel’s fate.
The licence is held by The Chequers Hotel Holbeach Ltd and the company directors are husband and wife Mark and Chony Andrews.
One of the police complaints concerns assaults on two men at the hotel last June and allegations that the publicans were unhelpful to their investigation.
