Tess the border collie had a lucky escape after fire crews rescued her from a reservoir in Algarkirk.
A fire crew from Kirton towed the dog to safety using a ceiling hook just before 8am on Saturday.
Specialist animal experts were called to help out but the dog was rescued before they arrived.
