A 23-year-old Spalding man has been arrested and charged with burglary after he was spotted by “eagle-eyed” police.
Mariusz Piciura is due to appear at Grantham Magistrates Court today in connection with a burglary at a home in Spalding after his photograph was released by police three weeks ago in a bid to trace him.
Inspector Jim Tyner, community policing inspector for Spalding, said: “Mr Piciura was recognised by an eagle-eyed officer who had seen his photograph.
“Although on this occasion the arrest was not as a result of a call from the public, the publicity we receive from local media can be invaluable to us in helping to locate wanted people.”
