More possibilities for first-time buyers of new homes are opening up at The Triangle, Wygate Park, Spalding where Broadgate Homes has been given the go-ahead to offer 14 more houses on the government FirstBuy scheme.
This means buyers who fit the criteria pay a deposit limited to five percent of purchase price, get a 75 percent mortgage and 10 percent loans from Broadgate and the government.
More than 26 new Broadgate-built houses on the site have already been sold under the scheme, including four three-bedroom semis out of the new batch which were released only three weeks ago.
Still for sale are ten new homes, mostly two-bedroom terraced houses with a parking space at £110,000 and four-bedroom semis with double garages at £160,000.
Broadgate Homes chief executive Ian Canham said: “The FirstBuy houses are being snapped up very quickly - there’s a strong demand for them.”
