It will be possible to see a selection of Kath Pearce-Fitzgibbon’s gems and jewellery at a prom fair being held at the Merry Monk in Kirton on Saturday, April 20 (10am to 4pm).
Alternatively, Get A Head hairdressers at Donington currently has a display of Kath’s jewellery in the pretty colours of amethyst, quartz, agate and jade.
Kath admits she has her favourite piece, currently a tiara made from amethyst, quartz and agate.
Prices are probably more affordable than people might think because Kath tries to keep her charges reasonable.
For instance, tiaras cost anything from £16 up to £69, and necklaces anything from £18 up to £60, depending on the gems that are used. Hair combs and earrings are even better value for money.
A selection of combs, earrings, tiaras and other jewellery can be seen on Kath’s website – www.kathysgeogems.com
Kath explains that the majority of the colours are as nature created them, but some are radiated to change the colour – such as pink diamonds – a process that sounds dangerous but is absolutely safe for the wearer.
