Incidents across South Holland kept firemen busy over the weekend, including a blaze where rubbish was alight in a Spalding footpath.
A fire crew from Spalding used a water backpack to put out the fire on a footpath off Halmer Gate after it was reported just before 10.30pm on Sunday.
Earlier in the day firemen from Holbeach were to a blaze involving garden waste that was allowed to get out of control in Ravens Drove, Holbeach Fen, just before 12 noon.
Firemen used a hose reel to put out the blaze.
Meanwhile, a fire involving dried grass in Fenhouses Drove, Swineshead, was put out by a crew from Kirton shortly after 1.15pm.
