UPDATE TUESDAY 6PM: A fire which broke out today at a shed in Kirton Holme is now affecting four homes in the village.
Crews from Spalding, Holbeach and five other stations are tackling the blaze in Holme Road which started at about lunchtime outside a two-storey house in the village.
Lincolnshire Fire and Rescue confirmed that the fire has spread to the first floor and roof of a building next to the shed, with the situation being made worse by up to eight gas cylinders being caught up in the blaze.
Firemen using breathing apparatus are clearing away tiles to bring the fire under control but it is not yet known whether there are any injuries.
TUESDAY 3.30PM: Firemen from seven stations are currently tackling a blaze outside a house in Kirton Holme which broke out about lunchtime today.
The fire started in a shed outside a two-storey house in Holme Road just after 1pm and crews from Spalding, Holbeach, Long Sutton and Donington are among those at the scene.
Six fire engines are in use to put the fire out and fire fighters are using breathing apparatus, main jets and and hose reels to bring the blaze under control.
