Jobs could be lost at Pinchbeck’s Morrison’s store as the supermarket chain replaces back-office cash counters with machines.
Morrisons has begun a four-week consultation with 689 cash office managers and supervisors across its 490 stores.
Morrisons has been under pressure to cut costs after its profits fell by seven per cent in 2012 to £879m.

A town centre building which has been vacant for almost three years could get a new lease of life with plans to make it more attractive to tenants.
The former White Hart building in Spalding could be made into two separate units because its owners believe it is currently too big for an independent trader but not suitable for a national tenant. Plans have been submitted to South Holland District Council.
