Police have named the cyclist who lost his life in a crash at Crowland on Sunday morning.
Nigel Duffin (57), of Wilsthorpe Road, Braceborough, was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash, which happened at 8.30am.
Police are today (Tuesday) interviewing a 50-year-old woman driver whose black Audi Q7 was in collision with Mr Duffin’s cycle.
The woman was arrested at the scene of the crash on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving.
Officers have renewed their witness plea for anyone who saw Mr Duffin or the car on the A16 Crowland bypass.
Police say Mr Duffin’s family has described him as “a wonderful husband, fantastic father and an irreplaceable friend”.
The South Lincolnshire Coroner Professor Robert Forrest has been informed of Mr Duffin’s death.
