PUPILS from Gedney Hill Primary School were treated to a day of hip-hop and street dancing.
Students Kieran Watson, Beth Mason, Ellie Rodgers and Inca Honnor from the South Holland Post-16 Centre, Spalding, spent the day with the 7-11 year-olds.
The school was practising for a dance showcase at the South Holland Centre last Thurday.
The dance competition sees schools from around the area compete against one another.
Headteacher of the primary school, Lynn Chappell, said: “The students came in to not only display their own talents, but also to teach and work with the children.
“It counts towards part of their practical teaching coursework,
“Our pupils thoroughly enjoyed the day and were very, very grateful to learn from the post-16 students, who conducted themselves very well. The day has increased self-confidence and we will be looking to do something similar with the Post-16 Centre in the future.”
