Boston College’s A-level students achieved amazing results, with 13 of its 15 A-level subjects gaining a 100% pass rate.

Elly Pelsma, from Donington, was one of the many students who successfully achieved the grades needed to get into their first choice university.

Elly achieved a Distinction Merit in BTEC medical science, a D in psychology and a C in AS sociology and will be going on to study psychology with clinical psychology at Lincoln University.

Elly said “I’m so happy with my results, I didn’t think I’d get in to university so I’m even more excited to start in September”.

Tom Edwards, Boston College’s programme area manager for A-Levels, said “We’re really happy that so many learners have achieved the grades they hoped for, with many accepting places at university.

“The results achieved are a real credit to the hard work of both students and staff.

“We wish our learners all the best for the future whether they are continuing their studies with us, at university or entering the workplace.

“Well done!”
