A SECOND parish council is sitting on its £2,640 payment for CCTV cameras until it gets answers from partners running South Holland’s scheme.
Sutton Bridge Parish Council clerk Suzanne England says she has written her fourth letter to the police and still not had answers on whether the cameras are working and what benefit they are to the community.
Council chairman Coun Christopher Brandon-King said the council should not send money until it gets a reply.
Long Sutton Parish Council took the same course at its last meeting with councillors complaining they weren’t getting value for money.
