Over 300 schoolgirls took part in a special Olympic Legacy football competition held at the Sir John Gleed and Spalding High School playing fields last week.
These School Games competitions form part of the London 2012 Legacy, which is to provide more competitive sport for children.
Special thanks to the Year 12 and 13 pupils from Sir John Gleed who refereed.
The Year 3 and 4 competition for small schools was won by Gedney Drove End, with Tydd St Mary second and Moulton Chapel third.
Bourne Westfield A were victorious in the competition for the larger Year 3 and 4 school, with Linchfield second and St John A third.
In the Year 5 and 6 competition for all schools, Bourne Abbey came out on top, with Tydd St Mary in second place and Bourne Westfield A third.
