A carer accused of fraudulently obtaining thousands of pounds from an elderly Spalding couple was sent by magistrates to Lincoln Crown Court.
Caroline Davis (37), of Newlands Road, Surfleet, faces two counts of fraud by abuse of position – dishonestly obtaining financial benefit in excess of £18,280 from Rodney Crowder and similarly obtaining more than £5,530 from Lily Crowder.
The allegations relate to the period between January 1 2011 and July 30 this year.
Davis was given unconditional bail at Thursday’s hearing in Spalding and will appear at the crown court on March 20. No pleas have been entered.
