An 18-year-old youth has been cautioned after an incident of criminal damage at a party in Spalding last night (Friday).
Police received a call from staff at the Spalding Services and Social Club in High Street Just before 10pm on Friday evening. It was reported that an 18th birthday party had got out of hand and some damage had been caused.
Officers were quickly on the scene and an 18-year-old male was arrested on suspicion of causing criminal damage.
Community Policing Inspector Jim Tyner said: “Club staff made the decision to close the party and this meant that about 100 people, many of them in drink and unhappy that the party ended abruptly, emerged on to the High Street area.
“This caused a lot of noise for a short while, but the rain meant that the group quickly dispersed. Police officers kept a presence in the area and no further arrests were made.”
The 18-year-old later received a caution.
