Police from two counties swooped on a game dealer in Spalding after claims migrant workers were being exploited.
Spalding police, officers from Cambridgeshire and representatives of the Gangmaster’s Licensing Authority visited Game UK PLC in West Marsh Road, on Tuesday.
It was part of a pre-planned operation, targeting organised criminal groups from Cambridgeshire, suspected of being involved in human trafficking.
The premises was visited following information that migrant workers who were being supplied to the company were being exploited by the very agencies who were responsible for their welfare.
A number of migrant workers – as well as representatives from the company – assisted the joint agency team with their enquiries. No arrests were made.
