Heather Roach has been appointed permanent Assistant Chief Constable, making her the first ever female substantive Chief Officer in Lincolnshire Police.
Assistant Chief Constable Roach said: “It is a real privilege to have served for the last 27 years with this force which is full of really talented people.
“The next few years will be challenging but I am sure that we can continue to serve and protect.”
Chief Constable Neil Rhodes added: “ Heather is an incredibly hard working person and a real asset to the Force.”
