My barber’s shop is next to the alley on Albion Street (Spalding) and I am constantly calling the council about the disgusting state it gets in every week.
The rubbish is collected on a Thursday morning and by Thursday afternoon the rubbish starts to build up.
The problem is that I was told the council needs three bits of evidence before they can fine anyone.
It is a very simple case that if this was changed to one piece of evidence is a written warning and the second time is a fine, this problem would change overnight.
We need to get tough on this and it is up to the council to make these changes to save our town from turning into somewhere decent people won’t want to live.
