Spalding food producer Tulip Ltd has unveiled plans to increase exports to China following a multi-million pound investment at the town site.
Tulip, whose brands include Danepak, Spam and Plumrose, hopes to boost its exports to China and Hong Kong by more than 3,000 tonnes in the coming year.
Chief executive officer Chris Thomas said: “We have and are continuing to invest in our UK processing operation to meet the demands of our ambitious growth plans for our export business.
“We are all very excited by the opportunity the Chinese market offers the Tulip business.”
