JET-SETTING pupils from a Spalding school have been visiting foreign shores to learn about their culture.
A group of year 11 pupils from the Priory School went to Poland for the culmination of their three-year Comenius Project, which has seen them work closely with schools on Poland, Spain and Turkey to learn about each others’ way of life and country’s customs.
And 12 year nine pupils visited France as part of a partnership with a French school which has been forged over 18 years.
The theme of the visit was food and plans are in the pipeline for next year’s trips.
The school’s educational visits co-ordinator Kate Isaacs said: “They all got a lot out of it. They enjoyed learning about other cultures and different ways of life.”
