NEW plain clothes police patrols in Spalding and Holbeach have resulted in arrests, including one for metal theft.
Spalding inspector Chris Davison said on Friday: “We caught somebody stripping metal from the old Hargrave site in Hawthorn Bank this week. They have been arrested and our inquiries are ongoing.”
The patrols were launched in mid-December and will go on until at least the end of January.
Insp Davison said officers have also executed search warrants, recovering stolen property relating to offences in Whaplode and Holbeach, and again arrests have been made.
