YOUNGSTERS from six primary schools had the chance to try something new during an enterprise day at Thomas Cowley School, Donington.
The secondary school hosted around 130 pupils from Gosberton Community School, Donington Primary, Quadring Primary, Gosberton Clough and Risegate Primary, Sutterton Fourfields Primary and Swineshead Primary for sessions in music, art, creative media and design and technology.
During the day they were able to try their hand at creating their own animation, making a moving parrot and baking with the help of Thomas Cowley students and staff.
Assistant headteacher Paul Marshall said: “This is about the 11th year we have done this and it was possibly the best yet.
“It was very successful and the year five pupils all thoroughly enjoyed it.”
