OPPORTUNIST thieves stole designer clothes left in four red, white and blue bags for a charity collector.
Police say a donor left the items at the collector’s home in Sutton St James, but they were stolen between 7am-11am on Friday.
The bags contained top brand clothes, trainers in boxes and Radley and Tula handbags.
PCSO Ben Harrington, based at Holbeach, appealed to donors to beat the thieves by making alternative delivery arrangements rather than leaving goods at the roadside.
He said: “Opportunist thieves are at work.”
