MARGARET Andrews, of Beech Close, Market Deeping, has memories to share of performing in a play at the Gleed Girls’ School.
Margaret cannot remember the name of the play but says: “I was a Cassowary bird and spent hours sewing black crepe paper feathers on to a black sweater and I made a beak from paper mache. I would have been aged 14 or 15 at the time, but I can’t remember who else was in it.”
Margaret does recall the names of her art teachers though: Miss Brice and Miss Tindall.
