Spalding Town Forum heard the area, beside a Double Street planter, also attracts rats.
Coun Christine Lawton asked for “an imaginative scheme” to replace greenery now being used as “a public convenience and sleeping den”.

South Holland Youth Council member Rhianna Berry asked if the design could go out to schools for a competition, but the forum said that could slow down the project.
Coun Lawton said it needed sorting out speedily.
