A TAKEAWAY driver was robbed after a man flagged him down and stole the food he was delivering.
The incident happened at about 11pm on Saturday in Church Street, Donington.
The driver, who was working for Hot and Spicy in Spalding, was in a silver Nissan Micra when he was flagged down near the church and threatened by a man who stole the pizzas and burgers, which were worth around £30.
The driver wasn’t hurt during the incident which is being treated as a robbery.
DC Paul Smith is appealing for any anyone who saw the incident or who was in the village between 10pm and 11pm on Saturday to come forward.
