MORE than £3,000 has now been raised for charity in memory of a stillborn baby.
Donations to Sands have so far topped £3,294 and are still coming in following the stillbirth of Darcey Twelves on December 27.
Grieving parents Ricky and Lucy gained national support after asking for donations for the stillbirth and neonatal death charity on social networking site Twitter.
The campaign had started with donations from family and friends.
Giving their story on the Just Giving website, Ricky and Lucy said the charity had provided them with a memory box following Darcey’s death.
They said they hoped the money raised would help to make more boxes, which included a number of items to help them remember their daughter by.
They couple hope to collect £5,000.
