Police will continue Wednesday public drop-in sessions at The Curlew Centre, Sutton Bridge, but they will be held fortnightly instead of weekly.

Police Sgt Amy Whiffen said so far have only handful of people have attended but it is not true that the police office will close.
She said: “In consultation with the parish council, it has been agreed that in the run-up to Christmas the sessions will be held every other week.
“We do have competing demands on our resources but community engagement opportunities such as these are very important to us and provide a vital connection between residents and their local officers.” Next session is 2pm-4pm on October 31.
