Closure of one of Spalding’s busiest roads will be 24 hours a day for the whole six weeks’ work.
Woolram Wygate will close to traffic from Monday (January 16) to Monday, February 27, for Network Rail to carry out work to the Mill Green level crossing.
It has now been revealed that the road closure order is in place round the clock.
The rail company is under fire for failing to do the work during last autumn’s 12-week closure for highway improvements at the junction of Woolram Wygate and Pinchbeck Road.
