You’ll get to meet many of Holbeach’s great shopkeepers out on the street if you take the family along to Holbeach Christmas Fayre this Sunday.
Out and about on West End, Church Street, Boston Road, and the long main High Street leading into Fleet Street more than half of the town’s shops and hostelries have booked up stall space on the pavement outside to sell their wares, raise cash for charity and add to the Christmas cheer with staff in fancy dress, some serving refreshments.
Thriving Holbeach businesses like the town’s two hardware stores Limmings and Hawkins, homeware store Lisa’s, ice-cream makers and sweetshop Laddies, two independent butchers’ shops Jacksons and Swepstones , the Flower Basket, the Card and Balloon Gallery, lingerie, nightwear and ladies’ fashions shop Joan’s and many more make up an offering that’s hard to beat in such a concentrated retail centre.
Any time of year, not just at Christmas, Holbeach extends a warm welcome to shoppers.
