A parish referendum is to be held in Sutton Bridge over controversial plans for a £300-million biomass plant in the area.
Local people are being asked to cast their vote on Tuesday on whether they want a gasification plant for burning wood chippings on a 64-acre site at Wingland.
The plan has been put forward by Peterborough Renewable Energy Limited, (PREL).
Residents can take part in the poll at the Curlew Centre from 4pm to 9pm.
