A pensioner is to face trial in the New Year accused of causing the
death by careless driving of a cyclist.
Walter Coupland (81), of Winsover Road, Spalding, denied causing the
death of Kenneth Usher by careless driving on February 3.
Judge James Sampson. sitting at Lincoln Crown Court, adjourned the
hearing for trial in June and Coupland was granted bail.
Mr Usher (77), who lived in Dowsdale, Crowland, died after the tricycle
he was riding was in collision with a car at Whaplode.
