BURGLARS cut into a safe to steal cash in an overnight raid on commercial premises.
It’s believed the raiders probably used a disc cutter to get at the contents.
It happened at GlenFarrow in Glendum Close, just off Wardentree Lane in Pinchbeck, overnight on Tuesday.
GlenFarrow commercial manager Richard Major would not disclose how much was stolen but said it was “a reasonable amount”.
He added that procedures would immediately change and there would be no cash left on the premises overnight.
Office equipment was also stolen.
The break-in was discovered by managing director Paul Kitchen at about 5.30am yesterday.
Police say the offenders gained entry to the building by smashing windows.
They are appealing for anyone with information about the incident to contact Spalding Police Station by dialling 101 or call Crimestoppers anonomously on 0800 555111.
GlenFarrow is a commercial heating, plumbing, irrigation and waste water treatment firm.
