Residents in Kirton and Frampton are being warned to be vigilant after a spate of burglaries in the area over the past week.
Electrical items and jewellery were stolen from a house in Coupledyke Lane, Kirton, at some time last Sunday when intruders got in by smashing through patio doors.
This followed two burglaries last Friday when a laptop and ipad were stolen from another house in Kirton and jewellery taken from a Frampton home.
Police think the thieves probably used a vehicle to take the items and residents are being asked to report any suspicious activity in the area, as well as taking steps to make their homes look occupied when they are out.
Anyone with information should call the police on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
