Local businesses have taken the initiative in working with Spalding Chamber of Commerce to raise awareness about the quality and choice available here and combat the post-Christmas gloom threatening to derail recovery.
The new Customer Service Forum will be a chance to highlight the strengths of local companies and also identify what can be done to improve and set standards that stand comparison with the best.
The forum idea, which has been designed by George Bell, Employer Engagement Manager at Boston College, takes place from 10am on Wednesday and is open to any Spalding area business wishing to reserve a place.
George said: “The aim is to pool our resources and energy to ensure we are doing everything possible to offer the best service – and to make sure everyone knows about it.”
The event will take place at Sage in the Red Lion Quarter, with both large and small organisations represented.
It is seen as an opportunity for business owners and any staff involved with customers to take away new ideas, set out new plans for the future and even go on to develop essential new skills where these are needed.
It stands to benefit business, employment and our whole community.
Places are still available. For details of the cost and how to book you can contact Summer Hills at Boston College on 01205 365701 ext 6255 or email to summer-h@boston.ac.uk
