More shrubs have been cleared from a Spalding riverbank used as a sex and drinks den.
The district council stepped in last week to complete a project started some time ago to open up the Double Street side of High Bridge.
Council portfolio holder Coun Roger Gambba-Jones said: “Once the area has been greened up by seeding, we will seek the views of Spalding Town Forum as to what, if anything, they would like to see put back in the form of low level planting.”
He said the work gives the public a much better view of the bridge and river – and allows them to see the White Horse, one of the most attractive buildings in town.
